IMPORTANT LENS COMPATIBILITY UPDATE
ATTENTION: This Retina lens fits only with Retina frames from season 2016/17!
Due to the changes in lens thickness, old frames and lenses are incompatible with the new frames and lenses for Iris and Retina. All new lenses will have a + sign on the lens and all Iris and Retina frames will have a + sign to ensure there is no confusion about whether you have an old or new version.

The Comp series goggle lenses are developed specifically for racing with a Cellulose Propionate (CP) lens to minimize the optical distortion. POC’s double lens construction has superior polymer materials as well as anti-fog and anti-scratch treatments.
POC´s Carl Zeiss lenses are made of polycarbonate (PC) and have superior performance. All combinations of tints and mirrors have been carefully selected to minimize internal glare and to utilize the full effect of the base tint benefits.
- Ripel – All Zeiss lenses have Oleophobic and Hydrophobic treatment which ensures water, dirt, oil and dust cannot stick to the surface of the lens
- Low light filter - Higher VLT on the POC specific Sonar lens provides better performance in low light conditions
- Thicker lens - 1,8 mm lens throughout the range for enhanced durability and a more robust lens attachment, especially for all Iris, Retina and Retina Big

VLT - Visible Light Transmission
VLT is a measurement that specifies the percentage of light coming through the lens and reaching your eyes. A totally clear lens for dark conditions typically have around 90% VLT and a very dark colored lens with mirror for sunny conditions may have down to 10% VLT. Most all round lenses will be found between 30 to 60%.
Anti-fog Protected Single Goggle Lenses
Race skiers demand minimum refraction error, which is why POC's race-specific lenses are made using only a single lens. Single lenses are generally known to have poor anti-fog protection, but the base material and coatings chosen for POCŒÇs race goggles are the best available.
POC Double Lens Technology
Double lenses have an outer Polycarbonate lens for durability and penetration resistance and a cellulose propionate inner lens to optimize anti fog properties. All POC lenses have state of the art anti-scratch and anti-fog treatment.
