2026-2027 Cover Contest

Submit your best ski racing action photo for a chance to be featured on the front or back cover of the next Race Place catalog.

Each season, Race Place recognizes athletes who represent the spirit of ski racing—strong performance on the course, dedication to the sport, and respect for the racing community.

Prizes

  • Front Cover Winner: $3,000 Race Place Gift Certificate
  • Back Cover Winner: $1,500 Race Place Gift Certificate

Gift certificates are redeemable for Race Place merchandise only and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Contest Criteria:

  • Great action photo showing ski racing performance
  • The athlete must be wearing or using equipment sold by Race Place (skis, race suit, helmet, goggles, poles, gloves, etc.)
  • Must be a United States athlete age 14 or older
  • Athlete should be in good academic standing if currently enrolled in school
  • Include a short statement from the athlete describing why they should win and highlighting recent ski racing accomplishments
  • Image must be high resolution and suitable for print (minimum 2550 × 2550 pixels)

Participants may submit multiple photos, up to four (4), with their entry.

How to Enter

  • Entries must be submitted through the official online contest entry form.
  • All entries must be received by September 30.
  • Winners are expected to be announced around October 20.
