Description & Features
Hestra Leather Balm is an all-natural, non-silicone leather conditioner formulated to protect goatskin and cowhide gloves and mittens. Regular conditioning helps prevent leather from drying out while maintaining its suppleness, durability, and water-repellent properties. It is especially useful for leather ski racing gloves and mittens that see frequent exposure to snow, moisture, and everyday wear.
Made with a blend of natural oils, butters, and waxes, Hestra Leather Balm conditions the leather to help extend the life of your gloves. Regular treatment helps preserve the natural feel and performance of leather through repeated use in demanding winter conditions.

Leather Glove Care
Regular conditioning helps leather ski gloves and mittens resist moisture and wear while maintaining their natural suppleness. Goatskin and cowhide should be treated periodically with leather balm, particularly when the leather begins to feel dry or after extended use in demanding winter conditions.
How to Apply Hestra Leather Balm
- Start with clean leather and remove any surface dirt before conditioning.
- Apply a small amount of Hestra Leather Balm to the leather with a polishing cloth.
- Rub the balm thoroughly into the leather, working it evenly across the surface until absorbed.
- Use the balm sparingly; a small amount goes a long way.
- Allow the gloves or mittens to dry naturally at room temperature after treatment.
- Keep gloves away from heaters, dryers, and other direct heat sources.
Before You Apply
Leather balm can darken leather, particularly lighter colors. Test the balm on a small, hidden area first to check the finished appearance before conditioning the entire glove or mitten.
