Description & Features
Dominator Elite SS Rub-On Wax is a fluoro-free race-day finishing system for snow temperatures of 23°F (-5°C) and warmer. The set includes two condition-specific 20 g wax bars: a gray bar for old snow and a black bar for new snow. This lets racers and technicians match the final overlay to snow age as well as temperature when preparing skis for warm race conditions.
The rub-on system provides a quick final step at the race venue without another hot-wax cycle. Rub the appropriate Elite SS bar directly onto the prepared ski base, then polish with one of the included synthetic corks. No brushing is required. The package includes 40 g of wax total plus two synthetic corks for race-day application.

Wax Formulation & Performance
Gray Bar – Old Snow
The gray Elite SS bar is the old-snow formula in the two-wax system. Use it when the race surface consists primarily of older snow and conditions are within the Elite SS warm-snow range.
Black Bar – New Snow
The black Elite SS bar is formulated for new snow. It gives racers and technicians a separate finishing option when fresh snow crystals require a different wax than an older, transformed race surface.
Rub-On & Cork Application
Select the gray or black bar based on snow conditions and rub the wax directly onto the prepared ski base. Polish thoroughly with one of the included synthetic corks to finish the surface. Dominator specifies that Elite SS should not be brushed after corking.
