The Sweet Protection Back Protector Vest 2.0 combines certified Level 1 back protection with the flexibility and ventilation needed for alpine ski racing. Sweet Protection's 3S (Sweet Shock Shield) Protection Technology uses an ergonomically shaped visco-elastic foam pad that contours to the back, with three protective layers over critical areas and two layers at the lower back to support greater freedom of movement. The protector is certified to CE EN 1621-2:2014 Level 1.
Built for long training days and race-day layering, the Sweet Protection Back Protector Vest 2.0 uses strategically positioned ventilation holes, breathable mesh, and a 3D mesh lining to help move air around the back. An elastic mesh vest construction allows natural movement, while durable stretch-woven shoulder panels add reinforcement. 3S (Sweet Shock Shield) Protection Technology
Sweet Protection's 3S protection system uses visco-elastic foam shaped to follow the contours of the back. Three protective layers cover the most critical areas, while a two-layer construction at the lower back increases flexibility and allows the protector to move more naturally with the skier.
Ventilated Protector Construction
Ventilation holes are strategically positioned outside the spine area to improve airflow without compromising protection where it matters most. Breathable mesh over the foam and a 3D mesh lining against the back further improve air movement and comfort during training and racing.
