Construction & Technology
Steel T0179O
The T0179O uses high-quality steel bristles for effective initial wax removal after scraping. Approximately 5–6 passes help clear wax from the base structure before moving to finer brushing steps.
Bronze Brushes
Bronze provides a more aggressive brushing action for cleaning and wax removal. The Coarse Bronze T0158O is designed to clean and open the base structure before waxing, while the Medium Bronze T0162O is used for initial brushing after waxing and scraping.
Horsehair T0157O
The fine horsehair construction provides a less aggressive brushing action for race wax preparation and finishing after the primary wax-removal steps.
Nylon Brushes
Nylon brushes handle finer wax removal and polishing. The T0161O uses firm white nylon for general-purpose brushing, while the Blue Nylon T0160O uses short 12 mm bristles for polishing and finishing.
Red Nylon
The Red Nylon brush uses fine 0.12 mm bristles developed for polishing liquid glide waxes. The fine nylon reaches deep into the base structure to help create a smooth, glossy finish and is particularly well suited to Swix HS Liquid Glider. It can also be used for final polishing with other types of glide wax.
