Construction & Technology
Nylon Brushes
Nylon brushes are used for finer wax removal and polishing. The T0161 provides firm general-purpose brushing, while the T0160 uses short 12 mm bristles for polishing and finishing.
Red Nylon T109B
The T109B uses fine 0.12 mm red nylon bristles developed for polishing liquid glide waxes. The fine bristles work into the base structure to produce a smooth, glossy finish and make the brush particularly well suited to Swix HS Liquid Glider. It can also be used as the final polishing step with other glide waxes.
Horsehair T0157
The fine horsehair construction provides a less aggressive brushing action for race wax preparation and finishing after the primary wax-removal steps.
Bronze Brushes
Bronze brushes provide a more aggressive brushing action. The coarse T0158 is suited to cleaning and opening the base structure before waxing, while the medium T0162D is designed for initial brushing after waxing and scraping.
Steel T0179B
The T0179B wire brush provides effective wax removal from the ski's base structure and is designed for use as the first brush after scraping.
