Description & Features
Swix PRO High Speed (HS) waxes are great gliders for training and competition with very good glide properties. HS can be used as a race wax alone or as a base for top coats. *Equivalent to LF Waxes.
This wax line is part of Swix's fluoro-free racing glide wax system and is based on new raw materials conforming to a global sustainability strategy. Environmentally friendly and fit for racing and performance-oriented training. They follow the traditional color and number logic for wax selection.
HS05 TURQUOISE -10°C to -18°C (14°F to 0°F)
HS05 is the hardest wax in the HS line and is an excellent choice in cold conditions. It has great durability and dry friction properties. Despite being a wax for cold conditions, the melting point makes it easier to apply without sacrificing the great glide properties. Suitable for fresh, old or man-made snow.
HS06 BLUE -6°C to -12°C (21°F to 10°F).
HS06 is very versatile. Its area of use stretches from underlayer for a powder to racing wax and base prep wax for cold skis. HS6 has good durability and offers outstanding performance on natural and artificial snow.
HS07 VIOLET -2°C to -8°C (28°F to 18°F)
HS07 performs great in normal winter conditions below the freezing point. Its hardness makes it convenient to work with and easy to get a good end-result. It can be used as a racing wax at low air humidity and serve as a brilliant training wax.
HS08 RED -4°C to +4°C (25°F to 39°F).
HS08 is a great wax for both base-prep and training. It can also be used as a race wax, preferably used with a top coat. Easy to melt and very convenient to work with.
HS10 YELLOW 0°C to +10°C (32°F to 50°F).
HS10 is a great base prep wax, but also a great training wax. Ideal in warm conditions, typically during spring skiing.
