Description & Features
LOOK Rockerace ski bindings are built for alpine racing with the same design principles used on the World Cup circuit. The Rockerace concept uses a shortened mounting zone and a semi-suspended heel to allow the ski to flex naturally through the turn while maintaining precise power transmission. Long elastic travel improves shock absorption and retention, helping reduce unwanted pre-release in aggressive race conditions.
Developed alongside elite athletes, these race bindings deliver instant power transfer and consistent control for slalom, giant slalom, and speed events.

Technology
ROCKERACE
ROCKERACE uses a shortened mounting zone and semi-suspended heelpiece to allow the ski to flex more naturally through the turn. The design delivers strong boot-to-binding coupling and long elastic travel for instant power transmission, improved control, and superior shock absorption, helping reduce unwanted pre-release.
Long Elastic Travel
LOOK bindings feature some of the longest elastic travel in both the lateral and vertical directions. This extended travel allows the binding to absorb shocks and recenter quickly before release, improving retention and reducing unwanted pre-release during aggressive racing.
Multi-Directional Release
LOOK bindings incorporate a true mechanical upward toe release that operates independently from the heel. This design provides reliable multi-directional release protection to help reduce injury risk in the event of a fall.
Short Mounting Zone
A compact mounting zone reduces swing weight and allows the ski to flex more naturally underfoot. The result is a smoother, more consistent flex pattern and improved response through the turn.
SPX Heel Piece
The SPX heel provides 27mm of elastic travel for excellent shock absorption and retention. An oversized heel pivot increases coupling strength at the boot-binding interface for more efficient energy transfer from skier to ski.
Race Aluminum Toe Piece
The all-metal Race Aluminum toe piece delivers 45mm of elastic travel and 180° multi-directional release. Its durable construction provides precise power transmission, consistent release behavior, and reliable performance across all alpine racing disciplines.
Rolling Control (Coupling Strength)
LOOK bindings are designed for high roll coupling strength between the boot and binding. This minimizes lateral movement before the ski engages, providing more direct energy transfer and precise control.
GripWalk Compatibility
GripWalk compatible bindings work with both traditional Alpine boot soles (ISO 5355) and GripWalk soles (ISO 23223), allowing flexible boot compatibility without compromising release performance.
