Description & Features
Race ski bindings designed for junior racers, the Atomic Icon Race Bindings deliver lightweight performance, reliable control, and race-ready precision. Built for young athletes progressing in slalom and giant slalom, these bindings provide a stable, confidence-inspiring feel on hard snow.
With Centralized Power Transfer, the binding interface is positioned directly under the boot to improve energy transmission and ski response. This helps developing racers maintain better edge control and cleaner turns as speeds increase.
Durable steel and fiberglass PA construction ensures consistent performance through training and race days. The Icon 12 and Icon 10 models offer appropriate DIN ranges for lighter and developing athletes, supporting progression without sacrificing control.

Technology
Automatic Toe Adaptation
The toe automatically adjusts to the height and width of alpine-norm boot soles. This helps maintain consistent contact and reliable release values, even as boots wear over time.
Metal Race Pedal
Allows the boot to sit directly on the AFD for more direct energy transmission. This improves connection to the ski and enhances response through the turn.
Centralized Power Transfer
A wider base plate and race mounting pattern position the binding interface directly under the boot. This concentrates energy underfoot for immediate power transfer while allowing the ski to flex naturally and respond smoothly.
Elevated Brakes
Designed to tuck closer to the heelpiece when retracted, keeping the brakes clear during aggressive edging and reducing the risk of catching in race conditions.
