Description & Features

Swix World Cup Liquid Wax is a race-day liquid top finish designed for fast, condition-specific preparation when snow temperature, moisture, and grain structure can change throughout the day. LFC100 targets wet, slushy, dirty, and high-humidity snow from 32°F to 50°F (0°C to +10°C), while LF35 is optimized for new, fine-grained snow from 25°F to 39°F (-4°C to +4°C). Together, the two formulas cover race conditions ranging from colder snow near freezing to saturated spring snow.

The spray-on liquid format makes Swix World Cup Liquid Wax practical for final preparation at the start or between runs. LFC100 uses AmphiGlide Technology to manage moisture, water suction, and contamination in wet snow, while LF35 uses Lotus Technology to create a smooth, hydrophobic surface for reduced friction in fine-grained snow. Both formulas are fluoro-free and require no scraping after application.

Best For

Race-day top finishing when you need a fast, condition-specific liquid application at the start or between runs.

Wax Selection & Specs

Wax Temperature Range Snow Conditions Humidity
LFC100 Fine/Coarse Wet 32°F to 50°F (0°C to +10°C) Wet, slushy, dirty snow >30%
LF35 Fine Mid 25°F to 39°F (-4°C to +4°C) New, fine-grained snow 20–35%

Wax Formulation & Performance

AmphiGlide Technology – LFC100

AmphiGlide Technology is designed for wet snow where excess moisture can create suction between the ski base and snow. The formulation manages moisture while helping repel water and dirt, supporting consistent glide in wet, slushy, and contaminated race conditions.

Lotus Technology – LF35

Lotus Technology creates a smooth, hydrophobic surface designed to minimize friction in new, fine-grained snow. It is optimized for medium-humidity conditions near freezing where controlling the interaction between the ski base and moisture is critical to maintaining glide.

Fluoro-Free Formula

Both World Cup Liquid Wax formulations are fluoro-free, providing a modern race-day finishing option without fluorocarbon wax chemistry.

Application

  • Apply a thin, even layer of liquid wax.
  • Allow the wax to dry completely.
  • Polish with a soft nylon brush.
  • No scraping is required.

Recommended Tools

  • Soft nylon brush
