Description & Features
Swix PRO Performance Speed Liquid (PSL) Wax is a fluoro-free spray-on glide wax line designed for convenient training and race preparation. The PSL series provides an economical way to match glide wax to snow temperature without a full hot-wax cycle, with four formulas covering cold winter snow through warm spring conditions. It can be used as a standalone glide wax or as a base layer for additional race-day top coats.
Choose PS06L for colder snow, PS07L for typical below-freezing winter conditions, PS08L for temperatures around freezing, and PS10L for warm conditions up to 50°F (+10°C). The liquid format makes application fast and practical for frequent training, race-day adjustments, and regular ski preparation. The Performance Speed line follows Swix's traditional color and number system and occupies the performance category equivalent to the previous CH wax line.

Wax Formulation & Performance
PS06L Blue – Cold Conditions
PS06L covers 10°F to 21°F (-12°C to -6°C) and is the cold-condition liquid option in the Performance Speed range. It is a versatile choice for training and racing on both natural and artificial snow when temperatures are well below freezing.
PS07L Violet – Winter Conditions
PS07L is designed for 18°F to 28°F (-8°C to -2°C), covering the normal below-freezing conditions encountered during much of the alpine race season. Its broad winter temperature range makes it a practical all-around liquid glide wax for regular training and competition.
PS08L Red – Around Freezing
PS08L covers 25°F to 39°F (-4°C to +4°C) for mild winter conditions on either side of freezing. It provides an economical liquid glide option for frequent training and racing when temperatures move through the freezing point.
PS10L Yellow – Warm Conditions
PS10L is the warmest liquid wax in the Performance Speed range, covering 32°F to 50°F (0°C to +10°C). It is designed for training and racing in warm weather and spring conditions when snow temperatures call for a softer-range glide wax.
Performance Speed Liquid
The PSL series provides the convenience of spray-on application for regular training and race preparation. Liquid wax is useful when time or tuning facilities make hot waxing impractical, while periodic hot waxing remains important for maintaining a properly conditioned ski base.
Fluoro-Free Formula & Packaging Update
Swix PRO Performance Speed Liquid waxes remain fluoro-free. Swix is gradually updating its packaging, so graphics may vary slightly from the images shown, and some newer labels no longer display the fluoro-free icon even though the current wax remains fluoro-free.
