Swix Slalom Pole Guards provide full hand coverage for alpine racers clearing slalom gates. The molded shell protects the front of the hand and extends around the thumb, helping shield key contact areas during cross-blocking. Developed and tested with World Cup athletes, the guards are designed specifically for the repeated gate impacts of slalom training and racing.

Made from heavy-duty thermoplastic, Swix Slalom Pole Guards mount directly to compatible Swix race grips for a secure, integrated setup. The Adult version fits Swix DD4 grips, while the Junior version fits DD5 grips. Match the guard to your Swix grip before ordering. Sold as a pair.

Full-Face Thermoplastic Protection

The molded thermoplastic shell creates a protective barrier across the front of the racer's hand, with additional coverage around the thumb. This full-face design is built for the direct and repeated gate contact encountered when cross-blocking in slalom.

DD4 & DD5 Grip Compatibility

Swix Slalom Pole Guards are designed around specific Swix race grips. The Adult guard fits the DD4 grip used on compatible adult Swix slalom poles, while the Junior guard fits the smaller DD5 grip.
