Description & Features
The HEAD Protector + Freeflex ST 16 GW is a high-performance race ski binding designed for aggressive skiers who demand precision and confidence. It integrates Full Heel Release (FHR) technology into a race-ready platform, delivering both vertical and lateral release at the heel. This system helps reduce ACL strain by more than 50% in certain fall scenarios, adding a layer of protection without compromising performance. The Freeflex Pro system allows the ski to flex naturally, maintaining speed, edge hold, and consistent control through every turn.

Technology
Full Heel Release (FHR)
Delivers intelligent 180° release both horizontally and vertically at the heel. Designed to reduce strain on the knee during forward and backward twisting falls, helping lower the risk of ACL injuries.
Freeflex Pro
Allows the heel to move freely as the ski bends, preserving the ski’s natural flex pattern. This results in better edge grip, smoother energy transfer, and more consistent release values.
Stream Toe
Features independent spring-loaded pincers and adjustable pressure points for improved retention, precision, and power transmission while maintaining natural ski flex.
Race AFD Gliding Element
Moves with the ski during flex to maintain constant boot-to-binding contact. This improves control, eliminates play, and ensures fast, direct response from edge to edge.
