VLT - Visible Light Transmission
VLT is a measurement that specifies the percentage of light coming through the lens and reaching your eyes. A totally clear lens for dark conditions typically have around 90% VLT and a very dark colored lens with mirror for sunny conditions may have down to 10% VLT. Most all round lenses will be found between 30 to 60%.

Made from durable polycarbonate, uvex lenses can withstand temperatures down to -40° without any loss of mechanical strength. All uvex lenses, with the exception of the mirror lens, feature a highly scratch resistant coating on the front of the lens. The inside of every lens is treated with Uvex supravision anti-fog coating, to improve vision. UV filters are embedded within the lens material. They offer 100% protection, blocking radiation of up to 400nm. All Uvex decentered, injection molded lenses provide a distortion free view and meet Standard EN174, Optical Class 1.
Uvex Supravision technology provides an anti-fog coating for ski goggles that does not alter the optical quality of the lens.
