  1. Stainless steel base brushes assist in "breaking-in" the structure pattern by mellowing out the sharpness of a grind and etching a micro-structure in the base.
  2. Bronze or soft stainless steel brushing removes oxidized or sealed base material and opens the pores so that the ski base will accept and retain more wax.
  3. Soft bronze, nylon and horsehair brushes remove excess wax from the structure pattern to maximize the gliding ability of the ski base.

Description & Features

Toko oval brushes are designed for brushing wax out of the structure (base pattern) in ski bases after you have scraped for optimal glide. Wax brushes are also used before waxing to clean and open ski bases for better wax absorption.

Brush type
