Völkl's beer league GS skis with 3D.GLASS construction, a sandwich layup with two layers of fiberglass, one wraps around the base and extends over the sidewalls, and the other sits just below the metal layer on top. This innovative construction provides more power while allowing a smooth, progressive flex down the entire length of the ski, resulting in smoother turns and more natural transitions from long to short turns. Tailored Carbon Tip technology allow for quick turn initiation with incredible control and precision.
rMotion 3 GW Race Binding - The included rMotion 3 binding was developed in coordination with MARKER, especially for the Racetiger. A complete system with a significantly lighter race plate, ensuring optimal flex and grip. The 20% wider construction allows for a significantly improved transfer of power and control. The toe piece also ensures greater stability, while the heel mechanism provides better mounting convenience.

3D.GLASS is Völkl’s latest development to furthermore improve overall ski performance and stability even in harsh snow conditions. Compared to classic glass construction, the three-dimensional and multiple-folded glass layers in the tip, tail, and binding area result in increased edge grip and more lively rebound in turns.

Tailored Carbon Tip
The latest Volkl technology is Tailored Fibre Placement. The Tailored Carbon Tips are produced in an innovative manufacturing process by embroidering the individual carbon fibers onto a carrier material. This allows them to be positioned precisely along stress lines, delivering just the right response from the tip during turn initiation. The stiffness and torsion can be adjusted via the fiber thickness and millimeter-precise alignment. In this way, the fibers guide the dynamics to the parts of the ski where they are needed. The visibly integrated Tailored Carbon Tips are lightweight and allow the ski to build up energy, getting the skier into the turn quickly with incredible control and precision.
MULTI-LAYER WOOD CORE
A combination of lighter, softer poplar wood and heavier, stronger beech wood provides an ideal blend of lightweight, strength, durability and damping: The beech typically concentrates where the most power is needed in the ski, such as under the binding or alongside the edges and sidewalls.
An early-rise tip design for racing. The combination of an early rise tip and a classic camber profile in the rest of the ski provides easy, smooth turn entry regardless of conditions. The ski is forgiving and easy to handle.
Zebra Base Structure
The Zebra pattern is a more aggressive base structure to offer the best possible precision & steering characteristics for the front of the skis.
