Selecting your proper helmet size:

Measure your head circumference one inch above the eyebrows around to the largest point on the back of your head. Round up to the larger size when your measurement is between two sizes.

20 1/4 52
20 7/8 53
21 1/4 54
21 5/8 55
22 56

Helmet Fit Check:

  • Your helmet should fit snugly and square on your head. Make sure that it is not tilted too far back or forward on your head.
  • Cheek pads touch, but do not press uncomfortably.
  • Make sure there are no gaps around your temples, brow or back of the neck
  • With the straps securely fastened, shake your head slightly from side to side and back and forth. If it moves or feels loose, then it is too big. (Also remember that the comfort liner will compress a little with use, so a new helmet should fit as tight as you can comfortably wear.)
  • Again with the straps fastened, try to roll the helmet forward off your head. If you can get it off, it is too big.
  • Feel for any pressure spots. Check for any soreness or red spots after you remove the helmet. If you find any, try the next size up or a different model. All brands fit a little different, so try on multiple styles for the best fit.

Description & Features

This Team Edition (TE) Helmet is developed closely with Henrik Kristoffersen. The Trooper Slalom Helmet has been engineered using only the best materials, technologies and production technologies, including the revolutionary 2Vi Technology Platform. Features a carbon fiber reinforced mono-shell construction for extra strength, lighter weight and optimal protection performance. A next-generation variable elasticity helmet shell offering increased rigidity and elasticity combined with a complex geometry multi-density shock absorbing liner with vastly improved impact dissipation. The 2Vi Technology Platform also includes a unique 2-layer MIPS technology to reduce rotational forces on the brain.

Technical Info

2Vi Technology

Thermoplastic Laminated Carbon Fiber (TLC) Shell

The Thermoplastic laminated carbon fiber shell combines the elasticity of injection-molded thermoplastic with the rigidity and strength of carbon fiber. It enables us to very effectively tune the shell for different properties in different areas for optimized performance.

Variable Elasticity Advanced Hybrid Shell

A unique lightweight advanced hybrid shell construction that combines an in-mold helmet and a hard shell helmet. The hard shell layer reinforces the circumference of the helmet, helping to transfer the force of impact in critical areas, while the in-molded sections ensure elasticity where needed.

Multi-directional Impact Protection System (MIPS)

MIPS technology is scientifically proven to reduce rotational motion by absorbing and redirecting rotational energies and forces transferred to the brain from angled impacts to the head.
