Fitting of Shin Guards

Put on your ski boots and measure from the top of the knee cap down to where you desire the shin guard to end. Personal preference dictates the bottom point. Some racers wish to have the shin end just above the boot top as they feel the shin guard can catch on the buckles when flexing forward. Others prefer to have the shin cover the top two buckles for protection from gate hits.

Multi-DN Impact Technology

Ribs built into the arm guard surface boosts gate-clearing speed by increasing the stiffness of the shell, minimizing energy absorption on impact and by reducing the drag of the gate by limiting surface contact area.

NOFRICTION PTFE

Drastically reduces friction and drag between the gate and the guard. This technopolymer has embedded Teflon R (PTFE) that lubricates the impact with the gate and boosts speed.

Slytech Shield Protection Carbon

Slytech Shield Carbon combines carbon fiber with high performance Slytech Shield material making it possible to obtain extra durable yet lightweight arm guards.

SLYGRIP Foam

Shell lining is made with Ariaprene, which is a revolutionary alternate to synthetic rubber. It is non-toxic, easily decomposable, readily recyclable and actually outperforms the less eco-freindly alternatives. Offers optimal comfort and superior grip even at extremely low temperatures.

EVOPRO Deflect Tech

Shape of the shin guard shell is designed to offer earlier impact with the gate and to re-direct the gate away from the tip of the skis.
