Komperdell National Team SL and GS Poles
Choice of Austrian World Cup Champions for over 30 years and now several US Ski Team athletes have moved to Komperdell. Adult National Team poles feature a 18mm rigid high strength aluminum shaft and the Junior models are a lighter weight 16mm, but are compatible with SL pole guards. Mini disc race baskets.

Swix World Cup Racing Poles
Special lightweight 7075 aircraft grade aluminum alloy race shaft in either Adult or Junior models. Adult has an 18mm shaft while the Junior is 16mm for lighter weight, but both are SL pole guard compatible. SL poles feature the DD4 grip with the ADD Tab system to prevent inadvertently dropping the poles and a small racing basket. GS/SG poles have the notched low profile DH grip and aerodynamic cone basket.

Favorite of many World Cup athletes! Carbon graphite for stiff lightweight performance that allows a more explosive start than conventional aluminum poles. Slalom model has special wing shaped shaft with ADD Tab (Anti Dropping Device) on a DD4 grip. GS/SG and DH models feature aerodynamic elliptical shafts for 50% less wind drag at high speeds and the downhill racing grips and cone baskets. LEKI Racing Poles
Triple Tube Balance is a LEKI feature that's a polymer layer sandwiched between two aluminum shaft layers at top of the pole. TTB transfers weight distribution to the top of the pole reducing swing weight and also adds strength where damage from gate hits is common in SL and GS. "Airfoil" technology from aircraft design creates a tear-drop shape reducing air resistance and increasing balance and stability of the pole at higher speeds. Swing weight also improves because of lower air resistance. "Trigger-S" is an innovative strap system allowing you to simply click in and go. Leki gloves are specifically designed for Trigger-S, but the strap functions in a conventional way with any glove.
