Plane Beast
Most skis or snowboards have plastic or aluminum sidewall
material reinforcing the edge. Unfortunately this sidewall prevents the file or stone from getting a good bite
into the metal edge while tuning.
Plane BEAST was designed to easily and smoothly remove sidewall with a "pansar" file section that trims material
at a 7° angle just above edge. This exposes edge so you can make a clean cut with file or stone.
Plane Beast is complete with mainframe, clamp and cutting blade. Made in Bend, Oregon!

SKS Racing Combi Aluminum
A bit on the spendy side, but this is the sidewall stripper many World Cup techs have used for years. The key component is the special Carbide square cutting blade that works well on all skis including cap designs. Also serves as a multi-tool and comes with two alu-oxide stones for working on edges. Adjusts from 1 degree to 5 degree.
